Espace Entretien is a family-run commercial cleaning, post-construction cleaning, carpet and fabric upholstery cleaning company serving Montreal and the South Shore. The website espaceentretien.com is operated by Espace Entretien.

Information we collect

We collect only what is needed to answer your request and deliver our services:

Quote and contact forms: name, email address, phone number, message, and details of the requested service (property type, number of rooms, square footage, carpet or furniture type, etc.).
Communications: the content of emails, texts or calls exchanged with us about a request or a job.
Service delivery: address of the premises, access instructions and preferences, once you become a client.
Technical data: our hosting provider automatically records server logs (IP address, browser type, pages viewed, date and time) for security and site operation.

Why we use it

To prepare and send you a quote;
To schedule, perform and follow up on cleaning services;
To communicate with you about your request or job;
To invoice services and keep our accounting records;
To keep our site secure and prevent abuse (spam, fraud).

We do not use your information for marketing without your consent, and we never sell it.

Consent

By submitting a form or contacting us, you consent to our use of your information for the purposes above. You may withdraw consent at any time by writing to info@espaceentretien.com; we will then stop using your information, subject to our legal obligations (for example, keeping invoices).

Cookies and tracking

This site uses no advertising cookies and no third-party tracking tools. It only uses essential session storage (so the opening animation is not replayed during your visit), which contains no personal information and is cleared when you close your browser.

If we ever add an audience-measurement tool, we will ask for your consent first through a banner, and this policy will be updated.

Who we share it with

We share your information only with the providers needed to run our site and services, who are required to protect it:

Netlify (website hosting and form handling), with servers located notably in the United States;
Zoho Mail (business email), hosted in Canada;
Our invoicing and accounting tools, where applicable.

Some information may therefore be transferred outside Quebec. We make sure it receives adequate protection there. We may also disclose information where required by law.

Retention

Quote requests that do not lead to a job are deleted no later than 12 months after receipt. Client information is kept for the duration of the business relationship, then for the period required by law (generally 7 years for accounting records), after which it is securely destroyed.

Security

The site is served over HTTPS only. Access to email accounts and client files is password-protected and limited to those who need it. Our employees are trained on confidentiality and undergo a criminal background check.

Your rights

You have the right to:

Access the information we hold about you;
Have it corrected if it is inaccurate or incomplete;
Request its deletion or withdraw your consent, subject to our legal obligations;
File a complaint with the Commission d'accès à l'information du Québec if you believe your rights are not being respected.

To exercise these rights, write to info@espaceentretien.com. We respond within 30 days.

Privacy incidents

Should a privacy incident presenting a risk of serious injury occur, we would notify the Commission d'accès à l'information and the affected individuals promptly, as required by law, and we keep a register of all incidents.
